Privacy Policy
Docarus is designed to be a private, offline app. We do not collect, store, upload, transmit, sell, rent, share, or otherwise receive your documents, files, records, usage activity, analytics, diagnostics, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or personal information through the app.
Short Version
Your data stays on your phone. Docarus does not create an account for you, does not require sign-in, does not connect to our servers, does not upload your content, does not use cloud sync operated by us, does not include analytics, does not include advertising SDKs, and does not track your behavior.
What We Collect
Nothing through the app. Docarus is built so that your content remains stored locally on your device. We do not receive your files, we do not receive metadata about your files, and we do not receive logs about how you use the app.
What We Do Not Collect
- Your documents, scans, records, notes, or any other content stored in the app.
- Your name, email address, phone number, or account credentials through the app.
- Analytics events, usage metrics, feature interactions, clicks, or session data.
- Advertising identifiers, device fingerprints, approximate location, precise location, or tracking data.
- Crash reports, diagnostics, telemetry, performance monitoring, or behavioral profiling transmitted by us.
- Contacts, photos, calendar data, or other personal device data except what you deliberately choose to manage locally inside the app.
No Internet Connection by the App
Docarus does not connect to the internet in order to operate its core functionality. It does not send your data to us or to third parties, does not call home, and does not communicate with external servers for syncing, tracking, profiling, analytics, or advertising.
Local Storage Only
All information you place into Docarus remains on your device unless you, at your own direction, export it, share it, back it up, sync it, screenshot it, or otherwise move it outside the app using device features or third-party services that you control. Any such action is initiated by you, not by us.
No Tracking
We do not track your behavior in Docarus. There are no in-app analytics, no ad tracking, no profiling, no event logging sent to us, no usage replay tools, and no hidden monitoring of what you open, store, read, edit, or delete.
No Data Sharing
Because we do not collect data through the app, we do not sell it, share it, disclose it, monetize it, or use it for advertising. We cannot hand over app data that we never receive.
Your Responsibility for Your Device and Backups
Because your data stays on your device, you are solely responsible for your device security, passcodes, backup choices, export choices, and recovery strategy. If your device is lost, damaged, reset, compromised, or becomes inaccessible, your data may also become inaccessible.
Children's Privacy
Because we do not collect personal information through the app, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
Changes to This Policy
If this Privacy Policy changes, we will update the text on this page and revise the effective date. Continued use of Docarus after an updated policy becomes effective means you accept the updated version.
